Groom Wanted - we are looking for a polo groom for NZ season for 0 goal amateur player. We have just brought our ponies in and are starting slow fitness work. We'd be keen for someone who can start reasonably soon, and groom until the end of March 2010.
Applicants must have sound riding and horse care experience, but polo grooming experience is not essential. You must be able to work well with others, and also sole-charge from time to time.
We are based at a farm near Beachlands (in Auckland, New Zealand), about 20 min drive from the main polo fields at Clevedon. We have about 12 working ponies and need a groom to help with exercise and care of ponies and gear, game days, and general pony management. We can provide accommodation (incl. swimming pool) on-site.
